Product Description

"clear shrink tubing" is a tubular material made from a special thermoplastic polymer (usually polyolefin or PVC). Its key feature is that when heated, it will uniformly and significantly contract radially (in the diameter direction), thereby tightly enclosing the object inside it.

the characteristics of clear shrink tubing:

1. Insulation protection: This is the most common application. After shrinking, it tightly wraps around wire connectors, solder joints, connectors, terminals, etc., providing electrical insulation to prevent short circuits, arcs, and electric shocks, and protecting against dust, moisture, chemical corrosion, and minor mechanical wear.

2. Environmental sealing: Provides a certain degree of moisture-proof and dust-proof protection.

3. Marking: Although transparent, labels or color codes can be placed on the objects it encloses before or after shrinking. The transparent tube provides protection while allowing the contents to be visible. There are also transparent heat-shrink tubes with pre-printed identification.

4. Mechanical protection: Preventing the surface of objects from being scratched or worn.
